I absolutely love our Jasper. We keep it in our bedroom, and it’s honestly been one of the best purchases we’ve made. When we first got it, I really saw how accurate it is. I was roasting vegetables in the oven, and I walked into the bedroom for something and noticed the Jasper had turned red for critical air quality. Meanwhile, the cheaper air purifier we had in the kitchen still said the air was “excellent.” That’s when it really clicked how sensitive and reliable Jasper is. It picks up on even the smallest changes and clears the air so quickly. I also love sleeping with it on level three. It’s the perfect white noise. During the day, I keep it on auto and let it do its thing. I truly love my Jasper and will definitely be getting a second one for the kitchen!

I think this machine is wonderful from the mission behind it, to its design and function, to its efficacy. I really feel like I’m breathing cleaner air. However, I did notice that I’m experiencing the same difficulty breathing through my nose every night with it on just a level 2 fan as I did before I got the scrubber. I don’t have any other underlying issues with respiration, other than developing seasonal allergies which I never had before. I thought my trouble breathing at night was also the pet dander from my dogs, so I really thought this would absolutely solve everything.
While the air feels noticeably fresher, it feels drier, and I think that is also contributing to my respiratory issues at night. I turn on a humidifier low, and the Jaspr says the air quality is critical. I’ve cleaned the humidifier, but I’m wondering if it’s still unclean somehow, otherwise, why would the Jaspr say the air quality is bad if it’s a little more humid? When I turn off the humidifier, the air quality meter goes back to green, showing a low number.
Again, I still love the product and will continue to use it, but it’s just this one little thing that’s bugging me a little.

One note with humidifiers is that the water inside may contain settled particulates that become airborne during the aerosolization process, and your Jaspr's sensor is reacting to these. If possible, distilled water in the humidifier will have the least affect on the air quality.
