I think this machine is wonderful from the mission behind it, to its design and function, to its efficacy. I really feel like I’m breathing cleaner air. However, I did notice that I’m experiencing the same difficulty breathing through my nose every night with it on just a level 2 fan as I did before I got the scrubber. I don’t have any other underlying issues with respiration, other than developing seasonal allergies which I never had before. I thought my trouble breathing at night was also the pet dander from my dogs, so I really thought this would absolutely solve everything.
While the air feels noticeably fresher, it feels drier, and I think that is also contributing to my respiratory issues at night. I turn on a humidifier low, and the Jaspr says the air quality is critical. I’ve cleaned the humidifier, but I’m wondering if it’s still unclean somehow, otherwise, why would the Jaspr say the air quality is bad if it’s a little more humid? When I turn off the humidifier, the air quality meter goes back to green, showing a low number.
Again, I still love the product and will continue to use it, but it’s just this one little thing that’s bugging me a little.

One note with humidifiers is that the water inside may contain settled particulates that become airborne during the aerosolization process, and your Jaspr's sensor is reacting to these. If possible, distilled water in the humidifier will have the least affect on the air quality.

I love how fast the sensor picks up on cooking and responds well! The night mode button though is not sensitive on either of my filters and I have to press several times. The air does feel cleaner for sure but was a little disappointed that it didn’t help my kids with their allergy cough as much as I hoped but that doesn’t necessarily indicate it’s a filter problem. Just had higher hopes on that end:) overall a great product! Hope the filter price eventually goes down a little 😅
JJaspr15 minutes agoThank you for your review Elena! For the buttons, we suggest pressing down hard on the touch screen all along the perimeter, to ensure it is fully lined up. Also, we like to give the prompt of scanning your fingerprint when pressing the buttons; horizontal fingertip with medium pressure usually gets the best result.
