Jaspr and Airborne Mold Spores: Independently Lab Tested
Independently lab tested on airborne mold spores.
Jaspr is an air scrubber, built for the home. It pairs a cold rolled steel body with high airflow and a high-efficiency filter with activated carbon that helps reduce odors.
We don't ask you to take our word for it. We hired an independent lab, LMS Technologies, to test Jaspr on airborne mold spores.
How the test worked
In LMS Technologies' Multi-Pass Efficiency test (Microbiology Report, February 26, 2025), run in a test chamber with airborne Aspergillus niger mold spores, the corrected removal efficiency was 97.1% at 60 minutes, 99.7% at 90 minutes, 99.8% at 120 minutes and 100.0% at 180 minutes. These are lab-chamber results for airborne spores, not a measure of mold in a home. Results in a real room will vary.

That's the whole idea behind Jaspr: move a lot of air, through a serious filter, every day.
Why airborne mold spores are worth caring about
Mold spores travel through the air, and damp spaces like basements, bathrooms and rooms after a leak are where people tend to notice them. Keeping the air in those spaces moving through a good filter is one part of caring for your home.
What sets Jaspr apart
- An air scrubber, not just another purifier: Jaspr is a commercial-style air scrubber, built for the home.
- High airflow: Built to keep air moving through the filter.
- Cold rolled steel body: Built to last.
- Activated carbon: Helps reduce odors.
- Quiet on its lowest setting.
Built for the home
Whether it's seasonal humidity, a damp basement, or a room that just feels stale, Jaspr is built to work quietly in the background, every day.
Jaspr is not a substitute for mold remediation. If you have a mold problem, fix the moisture source and talk to a qualified professional.
